As a registered nonprofit and Historic Site, we rely primarily on donations and memberships to maintain this beautiful space.
Built in 1833, the Meeting House served as a gathering place for early inhabitants of what would eventually become Winterport. The meeting house has been home to a range of denominations. After sitting nearly abandoned for years, a group of locals now restores and maintains the most recognized landmark in Winterport. It is available for both public and private events.

Whether you want a sprawling and scenic reception or a stunning church-style wedding, the perfect acoustics for concert or ample seating for lectures- our venue is multi-use. We offer indoor, outdoor, day and night events.
